Who we are

Nina Law is a settlement tracking tool operated by AstraBrava LLC, based in Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it. Nina Law is currently a proof-of-concept (beta) product.

Questions about this policy or your data can go to bruce@bruceramos.com.

What we collect

We keep data collection narrow and tied to the product working.

  • Your email address. Used to sign you in with a magic link and to send that one-time link. We do not ask for a password.
  • Settlement data you enter. Information the firm adds about matters it is tracking, such as a client name, matter description, defendant, status, amounts, liens, costs, and milestone dates.
  • Basic session data. A signed session cookie that keeps you logged in, plus standard server logs (request time, status, and similar operational records).

We do not run advertising, behavioral profiling, or third-party tracking pixels. The only cookie Nina Law sets is the essential authentication session cookie.

How we use it

We use the information above to authenticate you, to display and update the settlements you track, to keep the service secure, and to respond when you contact us. We do not use settlement data for any purpose other than running the tool for the firm that entered it.

How it is stored

Application data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a managed SQL database, and the app is served through Cloudflare Pages. Email delivery for magic links runs through Resend. Access to the database is limited to the operator and the systems required to run the service.

We do not sell your data

AstraBrava LLC does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share settlement data with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the infrastructure providers named above, strictly so they can host and deliver the service on our behalf.

California privacy (CCPA)

AstraBrava LLC is based in California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy of it, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no sale for you to opt out of. To make a request, email bruce@bruceramos.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account and settlement data while the firm is using Nina Law. On a deletion request, or when an account is closed, we remove the associated personal information from active systems, except where we must retain limited records to meet a legal obligation.

Changes to this policy

As a beta product, Nina Law may update this policy. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
